The Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) is a community of adult learners, excited about being at a stage in their lives when they are able to explore new and varied interests. The program is based on the strength and resources of Inver Hills Community College.
Offering a wide variety of interesting college-level classes taught by informed and experienced instructors, ALL is a low pressure environment where you can explore new topics and indulge your interests. The new program is designed for those of you at a stage in your life where you can explore new and varied interests and share your experiences with others.
A series of moderated discussions meant to inform and inspire.
Most events are held 1:30pm - 3:00pm in room 290 of the College Center.

ALL offers a variety of interesting college-level classes taught by informed and experienced instructors in a low pressure environment where you can explore new topics and indulge your interests. Courses are designed for those of you at a stage in your life where you can explore new and varied interests through interesting reading, and college-level learning, but no tests or deadlines as with credit classes.

The Inver Hills Center for Professional and Workforce Development offers dozens of skills-oriented, noncredit classes to polish your professional repertoire. If you are seeking training in business or specialized training in IT or healthcare, the Center for Professional and Workforce Development will have classes to meet your needs.
ALVA is a nine month, nationally-recognized curriculum designed to overcome the challenges of leadership later in life and find new ways to use lifetime of skills and talents. This life-changing course starts in September and meets once per month. Tuition is $750 with scholarships available to eligible students.

It's never too late to get that college diploma. And with Inver Hills Adult Success through Accelerated Programs (ASAP), the degree is closer than you may think. ASAP offers credit for prior learning and extensive one-on-one coaching to help you set and achieve your educational goals in an accelerated timeframe.
Seniors over the age of 62 may take college courses for only $20 per credit or audit college classes at no cost. Subject to space availability and other college fees may apply. Contact the enrollment center for more information.
SHiFT is an independent non-profit organization that meets at Inver Hills Thursday nights at 6:00 p.m. SHiFT aims to empower those who are seeking to more closely align life and work with their interests, values and passions. Meet like-minded mid- to late-career adults and hear their inspiring stories, as well as practice professional networking and skills development.
Members of our community have access to many of the college's resources for personal and professional development. The campus library is accessible to the public with a local driver's license. Athletic facilities are open to the public for a small annual fee. Inver Hills has a vibrant cultural community including music, theater, clubs and activities.
