Inver Hills Community College is organized into academic, student service, and administrative areas that work together to deliver quality educational opportunities and customer service to our students and the community. Led by the academic administrators and other members of the Management Team, the corresponding departments and offices are headed by deans and directors; all these administrators make up the Operations Team.
The President's Advisory Committee is made up of citizens and college personnel and helps provide direction and insure responsiveness to the community.

The Management Team meets weekly and is responsible for policy, academic oversight, budget and facilities, personnel and staffing, student development, and planning.
The Operations Team is composed of the Management Team members plus directors who head up departments and programs, including specific academic programs, student services, college support areas, and other operations functions.
