Advanced Network Technology Certificate

(18 credits)


Purpose: Provides I.T. employees with knowledge and skills needed to assume additional or higher level responsibilities for a large networked environment. The curriculum includes essential security concepts that are critical for all I.T. team members and provides flexibility for various levels of current competence and areas of emphasis. Participants must have CCNA certification or three years of experience as a network technician, administrator or analyst in a Cisco environment.

*Optional higher level courses for participants who have existing certification or equivalent knowledge in these areas. CNT 2820 equivalent is Security + certification or CERT level 1. CNT 2810 equivalent is Cisco PIX Firewall advanced and Securing IOS Networks.
