Purpose: This degree program is designed for students who have five or more years of work/life experience and are working toward career advancement in a specific industry. The program is intended to provide students with the opportunity to develop specific competencies and earn an Associate in Science degree in career fields that are not targeted by existing degree programs at Inver Hills.
Program Information: This program requires submission of a written degree plan initiated by the student with assistance from an academic or counseling faculty member. A plan template is used to guide the degree planning process and to secure approval of the student, an industry representative, an academic dean, an academic faculty member and a counseling faculty member.
