Inver Hills Community College offers two-year associate degrees including the general, liberal education Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree; the career-related Associate in Science (A.S.) and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees; and the specialized Associate in Fine Art (A.F.A) degree.
The Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree is a college degree intended for students who plan to transfer to another college. Also see information about transfer programs. The Associate in Arts with Pre-Major Tracks includes designated course work that students may want to complete at Inver Hills as part of transfer to a four-year degree.
The Associate in Science (A.S.) is a college degree with a balance between liberal arts and career-oriented classes.
The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) is a college degree aimed at preparing people for immediate employment.
The Associate in Fine Art (A.F.A.) degree allows student to focus on studio art classes in preparation for transfer, to perfect skills and talents in art, or to build their artistic portfolio.
