Assessments

All incoming students are required to complete computerized assessments designed to measure the ability to work at the college level in mathematics, English, and reading.  The results of the assessments do not affect admission to the college, but may affect admission to certain programs such as Nursing, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), or Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO).

Read the following important information before taking your assessments:

 

The assessments can be taken in the Assessment Center, which is located on the second floor (upper level) of the Library building.

• No appointment is necessary.
• You must bring a government issued picture I.D.

Hours

• Fall Semester: Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm; Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm
• Spring Semester: Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm; Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm
• Summer Session: Hours vary. Call 651-450-3687 for times. 

Times may vary between terms, in the summer, or during other breaks. Please call 651/450-3650 for current assessment times

 

All students must complete the assessments.
