Inver Hills Community College provides students with a wide range of activities to get involved in! Our Student Life office, located on the 1st floor of the College Center, is the hub of student clubs and activities. They team with Rec Sports and Multicultural Affairs to host events and manage a wide array of student clubs, giving our students a full college experience. Our Student Senate is very involved on campus, and has won the 2008-2009 Student Senate of the Year Award for the MnSCU 2-yr college system! This is the second time in three years our campus has won this award among the 46 student senates throughout the state.
Students develop leadership traits and serve the Inver Hills community by getting involved in leadership-oriented clubs and activities on campus. Student Senate, Phi Theta Kappa, Student Ambassadors, and the Student Activities Budgeting Committee are all ways for student to increase their leadership skills while being able to network and enjoy a fun group atmosphere.
Intramural sports are a great way to meet friends and have fun while attending Inver Hills! Rec Sports offers many intramurals throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. Learn more about Intramural Sports at Inver Hills.
Although Inver Hills does not have on-campus housing for students, there are a variety of options available nearby. Recently renovated Granite Bluffs Apartments (651-450-3822) are directly across the street and within walking distance from Inver's campus. Review a full list of nearby apartments.
Our Child Care Center is a convenient option for students looking for child care while in class. On the north end of campus, our Child Care Center offers quality child care with flexible scheduling and an experienced staff who are first aid and CPR certified. Our program offers a variety of learning experiences for the children including storytime, art, science, cooking, music, movement, outdoor activities. Care is provided Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m for children 16 months to 5 years of age. Please see our Child care rate sheet for cost specifics.

Inver Hills' Computer Lab, located right next to the Library on the bottom floor, gives students the ability to complete homework, study, and print assignments in one convenient location on campus.
Having a variety of student resources including Reference Librarians, research computers, and quiet study areas, our Library at Inver Hills fully supports our students' success. You can use your student ID card to check-out books, DVDs, and CDs. Many of the library's resources are available off-campus. Inver Hills' Library is located on the bottom floor of the Library Building. Review the library's hours.

Inver Hills has activities throughout the semester in the college's Green Room, which is on the bottom floor of the College Center. Our Student Life's Facebook page has pictures of our recent Green Room activities: Inver Hills Student Life on Facebook!
There are also student lounges available throughout the College Center and Activities Building, including a room in the Activities Building with pool, air hockey, and ping pong.

Our Activities Building encompasses a full-size gym, a free-weight room, the Nautilus Fitness Center, and an Outdoor Rental Center. The gym is home to many intramural sports and physical education classes, among other activities. Our Nautilus Fitness Center uses top-quality fitness equipment and includes machine-weight circuits, treadmills, bikes, and elliptical machines. Check out all the Activities Building has to offer.

Inver Hills' Career & Employment Center is focused on providing services that equip our students with the ability to search for, apply for, and obtain jobs after graduation. We work with students to increase their interview skills and assist them as they create a resume to become successful in the job market.
Current students can also take advantage of our jobs site, Inver Hills Jobs, which is exclusive to Inver Hills students! We can help you with resumes, interviews, and the search for job opportunities.
Our Counseling staff is available to meet with current Inver students and assist them with academic advising and personal counseling. You can find a wealth of information about transferring colleges, selecting the right courses, and scheduling personal appointments through the Counseling website.

The financial aid process at Inver Hills is easier when students use the assistance of our Financial Aid Staff! We have dedicated Financial Aid Officers to help you with any financial aid questions you may have, whether it's filling out your FAFSA or needing explanation of your financial aid award letter. The Health Service offers free or low-cost health consultations and treatment to all students. A dedicated nurse is available throughout the week. Appointments with a physician are also offered. You can even get your health questions answered online.
Inver Hills' Learning Center has excellent tutoring services offered through our Peer Tutoring, Math, and Writing Centers. The Writing Center and Math Center are staffed by our faculty and tutors, making for accessible, high-quality tutoring. Our Peer Tutoring area covers a wide variety of classes at Inver Hills, and allows students to get one-on-one tutoring services free of charge!
