 Adult Learners

Classes offered in Apple Valley

Courses especially for adult learners are scheduled at the Apple Valley Higher Education site, located in the former Apple Valley City Hall at 14200 Cedar Avenue. (I-35E South to Cedar Ave toward the Minnesota Zoo. Take a left on 142nd on the right.)


Inver Hills offers its accelerated degree program, ASAP, which permits students to earn credit for life and work experience and includes 8-week telecourses and other convenient scheduling options. Visit the Apple Valley Higher Education site and meet with staff from the Inver Hills ASAP program, designed especially for adult students.


Partners in the year-old facility are Inver Hills, Dakota County Technical College, and Saint Mary's University. The three institutions cover virtually the entire spectrum of college learning opportunities.


Saint Mary's provides a bachelor's degree completion program and master's level program in management, human resource management, health and human services administration, and project management. Dakota County Technical College schedules classes in supervisory management, exercise and sport science, business entrepreneur, and real estate management.
