The "IHCC student number" is sometimes called "Student ID," "IHCC ID", "Tech ID," and "Customer ID". These labels ALL refer to the eight-digit number associated with your official student record.
Student IDs are specific numbers that are associated with your student records and enrollment. Student IDs appear on transcripts and registration documents. Student ID is your 8-digit Student/Employee ID assigned by the Institution. You do not need to enter leading zeroes. Example: 00587401 can be entered as 587401.
You can get your IHCC photo student identification at orientation or in the Computer Lab in the lower level of the Library.

The Personal Identification Number or (PIN) is a number that you use along with your Student Identification Number to log into Online Services at Inver Hills. If you have not used your PIN before, it has been preset to one of the following: your birthdate in YYMMDD format if you supplied that information at time of admission, or, the last six-digits of your SSN. Your PIN number stays the same unless it is reset.
The Online Services account allows you to use the self-service online tools for registration, checking financial aid awards, online payments, getting unofficial transcripts, and to update your official contact information. Use the Online services (log-in) link in the Online Inver Hills section of the college home page (www.inverhills.edu) to access those online services.
