About the IPS degree

Designed for students who have five or more years of work/life experience and are working toward career advancement in a specific industry, courses are intended to provide students with the opportunity to develop specific competencies and earn an associate in science degree in career fields that are not targeted by existing degree programs at Inver Hills. To take these courses offered through ASAP (Adult Learning though Accelerated Programs) you must submit a written degree plan initiated by the student with assistance from an academic or counseling faculty member. A plan template is used to guide the degree planning process and to secure approval of the student, an industry representative, an academic dean, an academic faculty member and a counseling faculty member. Academic deans and faculty members will be sought from areas that most closely relate to the degree plan field. You may go to the ASAP (Adult Learning though Accelerated Programs) website http://depts.inverhills.edu/ASAP for more information.
