Departments

This "Departments" category of the website is provided as an additional navigational tool. The college's various departments, offices, and programs are listed by type...academic, student services, etc. See the menu in the left margin for direct access to these areas.

Listings in Academic Departments link you to an overview page for that department which includes a short general description of the academic department and the courses they offer (with official course descriptions).

• If there is a specific degree related to that academic department, a link to that degree or program description is included.
• If the academic department had created its own website, a link to that departmental website is included, also. Departmental websites often include detailed information about faculty, program highlights, and additional links of interest.

Some departments are listed in more than one area, like the Business Office which is included both in Student Services and Administrative. In addition, alternate names are included in some cases.

Program review

Inver Hills Community College maintains a regular program review process for all its academic departments and programs, as required by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. See Program Review Policy and Procedures for information.
