College is for You! A Tuition

A tuition-assistance program for CollegePass students and other eligible students

College Is For You! provides tuition assistance to students for whom college might otherwise be just a dream. This special program works like a scholarship...it helps qualifying students afford college by covering part of the cost of tuition.

But the College Is For You! program is much more than financial assistance. Students in this program...

• take specially scheduled Learning Community (LCOM) classes with other students in the program
• enroll in specific courses designed to help them succeed in college
• enjoy additional recreational, intercultural, and personal development activities with other students
• form study groups, friendships, and lifelong success skills

Students who qualify can tuition assistance for enrolling in a Learning Community. If you don't qualify for the Learning Communities tuition grant, you still could qualify for the "On Course" class stipend that helps cover tuition and books for this special college-success class. Details are explained on the College Is For You tuition assistance application form (see link below).

Eligibility requirements

• First-generation college student (parents did not graduate from college with a 4-year degree) OR English is not your first language OR student of color OR qualified for a federal Pell Grant for the current academic year. 
• Enrolled in Learning Community classes OR in the new "On Course," student success class
• Successful application (approved application) into College is For You! tuition assistance program or into CollegePass.
