Keyword Search

InfoTrac's keyword search option provides a box in which to enter your search terms for a keyword search. Using our sample topic about vaccinations and autism, you enter the search terms autism, vaccine, and measles into the search box.

The database allows you to connect terms with and or or in your search box. For this search you would use and to connect your terms together, in order to find articles that talk about these topics together.

You want to limit your search to only full text articles, so check off the box marked "to documents with full text". Then, click the "Search" button.

Note: If you wanted to find only articles from scholarly and academic sources, you would check off the box "to peer-reviewed publications".
