Keys to Success - Responsibilities
Policies and procedures provide you with information about your rights, as well as your responsibilities. Understanding the different policies and procedures helps you take care of business at the college and simplifies your life when you know them. Otherwise, they may seem like obstacles when you miss potential opportunities or important deadlines.
Students have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
- Submit their own work and give credit due when quoting other sources
- Conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to others
- Use and frequently check their college issued email account
- Make good decisions and get the most out their education
- Monitor one's own progress towards completing the degree
- Be aware of the different college policies and procedures
- Ask for assistance when necessary
- Make arrangements to pay tuition
