Access and Opportunity Center for Excellence

"Access and Opportunity Center for Excellence" is a joint program of Century College and Inver Hills Community College that provides access and opportunity to a college education to underrepresented students who might not otherwise consider higher education.

This program offers programs and support services to 8th -12th grade high school students as well as first-year college students. Distinct programs introduce college to younger students and then permit them to earn college credit in tuition-free courses while developing academic skills.

     Readiness (PACE)

     Transition and College Success (iConnect)

PACE (Preparing to Acheive a College Education)

PACE is a program that offers high school students college courses that prepare them to enter college after high school graduation.

• No cost to participants for tuition, fees, and books.
• Students begin the summer after 10th grade and participate for two years.
• A supportive learning environment that prepares students academically and socially.
