Inver Hills students are encouraged to complete transfer requirements as part of an Associate in Arts degree program. For many institutions, the Inver Hills A.A. degree will transfer as a package equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's degree. If you want more information, you can talk with an academic counselor to discuss your plans.

Our Articulation Agreements with 4-year Colleges

Credit transfer agreements specify programs of study and courses guaranteed to transfer from Inver Hills to joint programs at partnering schools:


Minnesota Transfer Curriculum—Transfers to all MN State Public Colleges and Universities

Inver Hills students can choose the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, a 40-credit liberal arts education curriculum that transfers to all Minnesota state universities, including the University of Minnesota.

Minnesota Transfer Curriculum—Transfers to Other Colleges and Universities

Augsburg College, Concordia University (St. Paul), The College of St. Scholastica, and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls all accept the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, a 40-credit liberal arts core curriculum.

MnSCU Statewide Nursing Articulation Agreement
The MnSCU Statewide Nursing Articulation Agreement provides a seamless transition from one level of nursing education to another without the reevaluation of specific courses. The Associate in Science Degree in Nursing transfers to the baccalaureate institution as a whole package of nursing major and supporting courses. University of Minnesota Cooperative Admissions Program (MnCAP)
This is a cooperative arrangement between the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities and MnSCU to facilitate the transfer of students from Minnesota's public two-year campuses to the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) at the University of Minnesota's Twin Cities campus. Under this agreement, students who have missed the application deadline or are denied admission to CLA and choose to attend Inver Hills will be assured admission to the College of Liberal Arts when they meet certain conditions.
