BEFORE
YOUR SESSION:
1.
Please print this page:
Take these directions with you to your room. 2. Remember handouts, markers, etc.: Bring your own to be sure you have them.
3. Double check the complete schedule: Please be sure your information and room number are what you want. All rooms have overheads. If you requested a room with a VCR, DVD, computer, laptop plug in, and/or ceiling projector, you should have been given what is called a "smart room." (A "smart room" and a computer lab are two very different thingsa smart room has 1 computer, along with computer, VCR, & DVD projection abilities; a computer lab has computers for all the students, along with computer, DVD, and VCR projection abilities.) If helpful, check your room in person ahead of time.
4. Print one or more "Session Attendance Sheets": Take a copy to each session.
5. Print multiple copies of the "Student Evaluation Sheet" if you would like comments from students. This is especially recommended if this is the first time you are offering a session or if you would like to make changes in your presentation in the future. (These forms are strictly for your own convenience and do not need to be turned in to anyone at all.) You also may provide students with an extra question or two that you would like them to answer on this form.
6.
Make last-minute room
changes as follows: (a) If you need a room change after the schedule is printed, please do so yourself by emailing Room Reservations and/or calling Judy Gouin or Judy LeMire in the front office.
6. Get a "fob" for computer labs: A "computer lab" is a room with computers for all students. You need a "fob" to lock and unlock it. Please acquire one ahead of time as you would a key; then lock it afterward. If you don't have a fob, arrange with me ahead of time to have a computer lab unlocked. After you are done, please ask Michele Zywiecfirst floor of Business just inside the main doorsto lock the lab for you.
7.
Otherwise, don't
worry: All rooms (other than labs) should be left unlocked for you.
Please do not lock your room afterward, unless your
presentation ends at
8. If rooms/keys are a problem, get help: Let the HH registration table or Michele Zywiec on first-floor Business know right away. Barbara Read, Tom Williamson, Michele Zywiec, and Richard Jewell all have keys and/or fobs for HH and Business. |
