NO CLASS DAYS

The college will be closed Thursday, November 26 through Saturday, November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

LAST DAY TO WITHDRAW

The last day to withdraw from full-term and second-half classes is November 25, 2009. You must withdraw from classes online by logging into your Student e-Services Account or by completing a withdrawal form and turning it into or faxing it to the Enrollment Center. The fax number is 651-450-3677. You can find the form online at http://www.inverhills.edu/Forms/PDFs/DropWithdrawRefund.pdf.

REGISTER FOR SPRING 2010

Register for your Spring Semester classes! The Class Schedule is available online at http://www.inverhills.edu/Schedule/CourseSearch.asp and students are encouraged to meet with Inver Hills counselors to plan their schedules. Call 651-450-3508 or stop by the Counseling Center to schedule an appointment.

FALL MUSIC DEPARTMENT CONCERT

TOYS FOR TOTS

We will be collecting for Toys for Tots through December 14. Boxes are located in Activities, Heritage Hall, Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, Learning Center, Library and the College Center (Senate/PTK Office, Counseling Center, Info. desk). Please donate a toy to help a needy child experience the joy of Christmas. Toys for Tots is sponsored by Student Senate.

TRANSFER COLLEGE VISITS

· Art Institutes International Minnesota - Monday, November 30 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., first floor College Center Building. Transfer Representative Chuck Loberg will be available to meet with students and answer questions about degree programs, admissions steps and transfer of courses.

FUNDS FOR VETERANS

The Department of Veterans Affairs has made funds available for Veteran students who are still awaiting their educational benefit claim to be processed. Eligible veterans can receive up to a $3000 advance, which will be recouped from future benefit payments. If you are a student who applied for one of the VA’s educational programs and have not yet received your monthly benefit payment for the fall 2009 term, you can request a one-time advance payment at your local VA regional Office or through VA’s website, www.va.gov.
