FREE WEBINAR FOR ALL INVER HILLS STUDENTS

Greetings from the Twin City Adult Education Alliance and Inver Hills Community College.  TCAEA is comprised of 25 regionally accredited colleges and universities that serve the adult student population in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.  As part of our efforts to help educate our state workforce we are offering a free webinar, exploring the topic of trust in business and relationships.  We invite you to join us, May 16th from 11-12 noon, for this incredible webinar.

The Trust Edge: What Top Leaders Have and 8 Pillars to Build it YourselfTrust is a fundamental, bottom-line issue.  Without it, leaders lose teams, salespeople lose sales,

and organizations lose reputation, retention of good people, relationships and revenue.  But with trust, individuals and organizations enjoy greater creativity, productivity, freedom, and results.

Through academic research and firsthand experience, David Horsager has learned what it takes to gain—and keep—The Trust Edge.  Through a captivating presentation, David combines humor and illustrations with business insight and analysis.  He will show you how the little things, done consistently, add up to huge results.  Attendees will walk away with concrete steps they can immediately use to improve their lives and careers. www.davidhorsager.comDavid’s video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHJ45j8GYic&feature=relmfu.

If you are interested in viewing this free webinar, RSVP herehttp://www.tcaea.org/trustedgeWe will enter all names into a drawing.  We are giving away one iPad, two Kindle Fires and five copies of David’s book The Trust Edge.  We hope you can join us for this excellent presentation on a timely topic.

     SCHOLARSHIPS

SCHOLARSHIPS

The Inver Hills Foundation office awards scholarships for fall and spring semesters.  The deadline for fall semester 2012 is May 17.  There are scholarships for students in Chinese Studies, Business, Nursing, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) as well as many general scholarships.  There are also scholarships for students who live in Rosemount or Eagan and for part time students.  A complete list of scholarships is on the application.  Students only have to fill out one application per semester to be considered for all these scholarships.  Students can receive one scholarship per semester.

The application can be found on the Inver Hills website, under Foundation/Alumni along with some helpful tips.  There are also applications at the information desk and in the counseling area in College Center and also in the administration offices in Liberal Arts.  There is a checklist on the application to help students with the process.

Applications can be dropped off in the administration office in the Liberal Arts building, addressed to Mary Dimick.  If students have questions, they can contact Mary at 651-450-3714 or mdimick@inverhills.edu.  Students can also drop by Mary’s office located in the Administration Office in the Liberal Arts building.  Please call first to make sure she is in.

Have a great summer!
