Career and Employment Services Department
The Career and Employment Services department serves students and alumni with their vocational and career learning/search. We also assist with the development of skills needed while seeking internships and employment.
Please note that On-Campus Jobs are not a part of the Career and Employment Services department. You may visit the On-Campus Jobs page for available jobs. Please use the job's contact information as we will not be able to answer any questions about a posted job.
Services for Students and Alumni:
Career Appointments

Students and alumni may schedule individual appointments with our department to discuss career related concerns. Possible topics you may discuss include, but are not limited to, career/industry research, resume/cover letters, interviewing, and questions regarding job search techniques.

Services for Faculty and the Campus Community:
Classroom Presentations and Workshops

Faculty may request a class or club visit from the career center. Staff will create a presentation focused towards the interest of the group.

Throughout the academic year, workshops related to job search and career development offered to students and alumni.

Alumni:
Be a Career Contact
Periodically, students at Inver Hills may be interested in learning more about your field of study, occupation, and/or education experience. Inver Hills Community College is looking for alumni willing to help current students by participating in informational interviews and/or assisting with career research.
All referrals will be coordinated through Inver Hills Job Search web site. You have control over the information posted, the number of students you are willing to work with, and the type of service(s) you're willing to provide. For more information, please call Sarah Hover at 651-450-3874.
