Financing your college education can be difficult. Scholarship opportunities are available to qualified students. The CDC (Career Development Center) houses files of scholarship applications and information from local businesses and transfer colleges. The Inver Hills student bulletin has updates on new scholarships each week. In addition, the Inver Hills Community College Foundation administers many scholarships funded by staff, alumni, local businesses, and other contributors (see below).
Nationwide scholarship opportunities can be researched in the CDC as well. Our computerized career guidance programs, WinCis (Minesota Career Information System) and ISEEK (Internet System for Education & Employment Knowledge), both have scholarship search capabilities to access information on hundreds of scholarships. You can also check out Scholarships on the Internet.
