Initialize Your I-NET Account

Step 1: Read the campus Acceptable Use of IT Resources policy

Step 2: Establish a method to keep track of this sensitive information

You need to keep your PIN and account passwords private; do not share them with anyone. You may want to record your usernames (not your passwords) for reference until you memorize them.

Step 3: Enter your Student ID number (example: 000123456)

If you already know your Student ID number, then go to the next step.
You can find your Student ID on your registration page or you can look up your Student ID if you don't know it.

Step 4: Enter your PIN number

Your PIN number is the same one you've used to register online. If you have not used your PIN number before, it has been preset to your birth date in YYMMDD format OR the last six digits of your social security number.

If you can't recall or determine your PIN, then you can request that it be reset by filling out the PIN Request Form. Unfortunately, this will delay this I-NET account initialization process.

Step 6: Set your I-NET password

YOUR PASSWORD MUST NOT BE SHARED with anyone or your network account will be disabled. Do not write it down.
