Current Students

As an online student at Inver Hills Community College, your primary responsibilities are attending classes via Desire2Learn (D2L), communicating with faculty and students in D2L and through METNET email, and accessing campus resources for online learning.

Many of the same resources available for students in classroom-based courses are available for online student: Online resources include tutoring, employment, financial aid, registration, grades, library resources, advising, counseling, ordering textbooks, and study skills.

SMARTHINKING is a free online tutoring service available to both online and on-campus Inver Hills Students.

Special Note About BIT Courses:

Some BIT courses for the joint Inver Hills - North Hennepin Building Inspection Technology program are located on the North Hennepin CC D2LAn External Link system. Check with your instructor if you aren't certain if your course is affected.

NOTE: Precede your eight-digit student ID number with 'B' (e.g., B00012345) when entering your username into the North Hennepin CC D2L login page.

Special Note About Nursing Courses:

All nursing course web sites are hosted on the Century College D2L site (external link).

Nursing students must follow alternate instructions to access their nursing courses.
