SSD Online

How To Attend SSD Online: SSD happens on campus on a specific day each term, but you may attend SSD anytime online.  Here's how.

1. Go to one of the IHCC List pages on the right (developed and/or written by an IHCC faculty or staff member) and explore it.
     

2. Or go to the Inver Hills SSD Web directory of international sites, "College Learning," and pick out one or more subjects to explore.
       

3. If an instructor, staff member, or other discussion leader offers an online SSD session, it will appear on the left under Online SSD Sessions.  Click on the link to go to it.

If your instructors might be willing to give you credit for attending SSD online, ask them--and let them know about this page. 

Three Ways to Prove Your Online Attendance: Ask your instructors how they would like you to prove your SSD Online attendance.  Write down the time you spent on SSD Online and the subjects you covered:

1. If you took part in an online discussion, you may be able to copy it--or summarize or analyze what you discussed. 
     

2. If you went to a work page or to CollegeLearning, you can copy it. 
     

3. You also can report the Web address and write about what you learned.  

Chatting, Discussing,  or Emailing: If you have questions about SSD, want to talk about it online, or want to meet someone for SSD at a specific time online, you have three options as shown in the left column and below:
