| Technology Services |
The Technology Services unit strives to provide and support a comprehensive system of technology devices and support services so students can learn, instructors can teach, and staff and administrators can work productively.
There are four main categories of services: telephone services, computing and network services, audio-visual media, instructional design and training. Details about the services in each area are available in this web site.
How to Get Assistance
Students
The Computer Lab, 1st floor, Library building, is the place for students to get help with campus technology. The Computer Lab is open on days classes meet and during some days during breaks. You can call the Computer Lab to verify someone will be able to assist you before traveling to campus (651-450-8653, option 2).
You can also request assistance electronically using the Student technical help web form. The support team strives to reply within one business-day. Many problems can be resolved quickly, others may take a bit longer.
Get a copy of the Student Guide to Campus Technology (PDF, 73kb) for an overview of the services available to students.
Employees
Employees with an urgent technical support need can call extension 444 from an on campus telephone. If you are off campus and need technical assistance with a technology service provided by the college, call the college's main line (651-450-8500) and ask to be transferred to extension 444.
For important, but less urgent technical support needs, please send an e-mail message to Tech Support (support@inverhills.edu). Be sure to provide contact information (how, where and when) so the technician who picks up your request will know how, where and when to best reach you.
Employees can also use the Student technical help web form.
