Note: These are directions for Mac OSX 10.5
Initially you should verify that your network settings are correct and that you are using DHCP to obtain a network address. Steps 1 through 3 walk you through this process. Steps 4 and 5 show you how to connect to the IHCC wireless network.
1. Go to the Apple in your menu bar and click. Select "System Preferences."

2. When the System Preferences open, click on "Network."

3. Now verify that your Airport is turned on. If the Airport icon is in the left hand column and "Status" says on, then the Airport wireless is turned on. If the Airport does not show up in the left hand column, then click the + button at the bottom left to add the device. When prompted, click the pull down arrow and select "Airport". Now, click "Create". This will create your "Airport" network preference item. Figure 3 indicates where you are to verify the previous steps.
Now, click the "Advanced" button to verify your network settings. After clicking the "Advanced" button you will see additional wireless settings. Click on "TCP/IP" and verify that you have "Using DHCP" selected as shown in Figure 4.

4. Now that your wireless network settings are configured, if you haven't been prompted to join a wireless network, then this is the easiest way to get connected. On your desktop look in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and click the "Airport" icon as shown in Figure 5. As in Figure 6, now select "ihcc".

Figure 6:

5. After selecting "IHCC" you should now be able to access the IHCC network. When you open your web browser (i.e. Safari, Firefox, etc.), you should be prompted by our network to authenticate using your I-Net account. Enter your username and password to authenticate and you should now be able to use the network.
