Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP)

Inver Hills Community College is committed to continual improvement. The Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) is an alternative accreditation method of the North Central Association's Higher Learning Commission that employs a quality improvement model. Inver Hills was admitted to AQIP on November 22, 2002.

Institutional Overview

The 2014 Systems Portfolio has been reviewed by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Peer Review Team. The college community received the Systems Appraisal Feedback Report in late 2014.

Program Accreditation

The accounting, contemporary business and contemporary business practice associate degree programs have been granted full accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

Emergency Health Services
The Emergency Health Services program (EMT/Paramedic) has been awarded national accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

The Inver Hills Nursing program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) - formerly named the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
