The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently updated their COVID-19 interim public health recommendations for fully vaccinated people in areas of "substantial" levels of transmission, primarily as a result of the Delta variant. Our  college resides in such a county. Because of this guidance, and at the direction of the Minnesota-State system, Minnesota Department Of Health (MDH), and our campus' leadership, all individuals – including fully vaccinated individuals and guests – must wear a mask while on campus, outside as well as in public indoor settings. For more information, visit InverHills.edu/COVID-19.

  • Please continue to self-monitor for COVID symptoms and stay home if you are not feeling well. Seek medical advice as needed.
  • In addition to masking, staff will request to keep at least 3 to 6 feet of physical distance for visitors to campus: please know this is from an abundance of health and safety protocols to keep everyone safe and healthy.
  • Admissions Advisors have both on-campus and virtual staffing availability. Our office also has daily campus visit opportunities Monday through Thursday: please sign up for a Campus Visit session below. Friday services are largely delivered virtually. On-campus individual appointments are available by request and per availability; please call 651-450-3000 at least an hour in advance regarding possible availability, and please plan for next day or later appointments when possible.

We offer a number of ways to connect with advisors. You will learn everything you need to know about applying, enrolling, and advancing your college career in ways that are flexible and affordable. For individual campus-based, phone, or web-based appointments, please call 651-450-3902 or email us at Admissions@inverhills.edu. Please limit total number of appointment attendees to no more than 3 individuals, inclusive of up to two support individuals. Groups larger than this size should submit a formal visit request. Individual appointments reserve the right to be mobile in nature – if possible and needed – to avoid congestion in the admissions' suite. If you are in need of accommodations for this appointment opportunity, please let us know via email or your phone call.

Individual Information Meeting

We are available to meet with you individually via an appointment if you would prefer to discuss the process for admissions and enrollment, our major programs, and more. For individual campus-based, phone, or web-based appointments, please call 651-450-3902 or email us your request at Admissions@inverhills.edu.

CAMPUS-BASED & VIRTUAL, WEB-BASED SESSIONS

We offer a variety of visits – both campus-based and virtual – that last about an hour. Here's what you'll accomplish during your visit:

  • Learn about the academic programs we offer
  • Get information about the application process
  • Get information about financial aid

Campus-based visits will depart from the Admissions office, located on the 2nd floor of the College Center. The lot in front of the building has free visitor parking. Web-based technology is necessary for virtual events, ideally being a computer with a web-camera and/or audiovisual means. Zoom is also available as a free app for your phone (ZOOM cloud meeting).

Please be ready 5 to 10 minutes in advance of the session time. Session details will be sent via email at the address you provide in registration.

Please remember that if you cannot find a session that fits your schedule, just call or email us for other available options to talk with an Admissions Advisor.

Sessions relate to specific programs (such as nursing, paralegal, and more) or lived experiences (adult learners, general questions, and otherwise): we hope we meet your needs and questions!

While classes may look a little different than in the past, we are committed to providing a rich learning experience while keeping everyone safe. Learn more about course delivery, COVID protocols, staying healthy before the semester and more.

Request A Visit

In addition to our visit slate that recurs throughout the year, the Admissions Office is excited to provide additional options for groups to connect with us, both campus-based and virtual. To request a visit, please fill out the following web-form so that we can identify your needs and requests. We ask that whomever fills out the form is also a participant of the visit (be it campus-based or virtual), and that the request is made at least 2 weeks in advance. Once your form has been submitted, you will hear back from an Admissions' office team member within two business days to set specifics and schedule. We look forward to working with you and your group!

Please note Inver Hills Community College utilizes Zoom for all virtual interactions. If you cannot use Zoom, regardless of the reason, please indicate so in the 'comments' section of the request form, and we will discuss alternative options with you.
