Prepare yourself to be a leader in your career! Take time to purposefully learn about leadership. At Inver Hills you can take join our Leadership Academy, or join clubs dedicated to developing your leadership potential!

Leadership Academy

Inver Hills Community College Student Life department offers emerging and existing campus student leaders opportunities to develop and improve their leadership skills. Each semester a cohort of leaders are chosen who attend worhkshops and other opportunities and are give the chance to earn a Leadership Certificate is earned.  For more information or to request an application for this great leadership opportunity, please contact student_life@inverhills.edu.

Student Senate

The Student Senate is the officially recognized representative of the student body at Inver Hills. It's a great group to be a part of if you want to get involved and to be a leader on campus.  Becoming a member is easy! Simply attend two meetings in a row and you'll be inducted as a Senator. The Student Senate works on a wide variety of issues on campus, from developing college policy, to chartering new clubs, to coordinating the voter registration effort. If there is something on campus that you want to discuss with other students, this is the place to do it.

Meetings take place every Thursday at 2 pm in the Liberal Arts Building in Room 210. All are welcome!

Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges. It is the oldest, largest and most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges around the world with nearly 2.5 million members and 1,285 chapters in nine nations.On the Inver Hills campus students complete leadership training, service projects and scholarly study that helps them to make a positive impact on campus and to develop thier own leadership potential. Students who have taken at least 12 semester credits, recieved a 3.5 GPA and mainatin a 3.25 GPA are invited to join.
