In partnership with the high schools, Inver Hills Community College provides early credit opportunities for students. Program goals include supporting high school to college matriculation of the academic middle and preparing high school students for college-level coursework. Tuition, textbooks, equipment and transportation for on campus field trips are provided by the high school. Students qualify for the classes by:

Students stay in their own high schools to participate in InCollege and visit Inver Hills for special activities.
Mainly high school teachers. The InCollege program establishes a mentoring system between college instructors and high school teachers, the latter committed to learning the new curriculum and attending professional development.
All courses in the InCollege program at Inver Hills are guaranteed to be accepted at all of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and many of the state's private colleges and universities. Unlike AP, InCollege students will receive a college grade on a college transcript. InCollege provides the ideal introduction to college life while letting you complete your general education requirements earlier.
