This Associate in Arts program will introduce you to the field of biology as a whole. Your instructors will encourage you to discover your own favorite branch of study while preparing you to continue your education and earn a more advanced degree in the biological sciences.

As a student pursuing an A.A. with an Emphasis in Biology, you will need to complete all requirements for a general A.A. degree and incorporate the specific requirements of the Biology emphasis. You are strongly advised to plan carefully with an Inver Hills academic advisor or counselor to tailor your emphasis to meet the requirements of your chosen four-year college or university.
