2020 50^th Anniversary Gala

Gala Cancellation Notice

Due to Chancellor Malhotra’s cancellation of all MinnState events (with over 100 attendees until May 1, 2020) as well as the executive order from Governor Walz limiting social gatherings, Dakota County Technical College and Inver Hills Community College unfortunately will be cancelling the 50th Anniversary Gala that was to be held on April 23, 2020. The colleges will work on plans for a future fundraising event this year, but in uncertain times we do not have immediate answers. As soon as we have confirmed plans we will communicate.

Guest and Table hosts — If you have already purchased your tickets we are offering three options. Please let Chris Hinrichs know what option you are choosing by April 1, 2020.

1. Donate your ticket price to the emergency grant fund to help students in need. We anticipate this need will increase drastically over the next several months given the significant economic impact on a large number of our student demographic.
2. Donate your ticket price to a scholarship fund of your choice or simply to the greatest need of the college.
3. Receive a refund.
