The Inver Hills Foundation promotes Inver Hills Community College by building partnerships with area high schools, businesses, community organizations and government agencies. Scholarships

Fall 2022 scholarship applications will open on Monday, April 25th and be accepted until June 30th at midnight. Late applications will not be accepted. Decisions will be emailed to applicants in mid-August.

 

Workforce Development Scholarship-Fall 2022

Made possible by the Minnesota State Legislature, a limited number of $2,500 scholarships are available to new students seeking a certificate, diploma or degree in:

  • Child Care Teacher Certificate
  • Computer Science AS
  • EMS/Emergency Medical Technician Certificate
  • Engineering Fundamentals AS
  • Environmental Science
  • Information Technology Support AAS
  • Network Technology & Security AAS
  • Nursing AS (Must be accepted into the nursing program)
  • Paramedic AS

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minnesota resident
  • Enroll in at least 9 credits fall and spring semesters
  • Preference for students demonstrating financial need
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA

To apply, complete the IHCC Scholarship application that will be available April 2022.

Scholarships for Inver Hills New Students

The "Upskill @ Inver" Scholarship gives new students a chance to take a course or two non-degree seeking (and of a grading method of your own choosing) at Inver to develop, explore, or brush up on needed or new skills for the workforce. The essay of 500 words or less due end of day, Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. Learn about our scholarships that give you a chance to win $1,000.
