The Inver Hills Community College Foundation cultivates resources to help students start their journey, stay the course, and succeed in life.
The D3M initiative is a unique program linking students, IHCC and DCTC and the transportation construction industry. Scholarships are awarded each year for students in the engineering, civil technology, construction management and heavy equipment maintenance programs at IHCC and DCTC, and students make important connections to the industry with many internship opportunities offered by industry partners. Your gift will support the work of the Foundation by providing more scholarships for students.
The result: more dollars invested to make sure low-income, working Minnesotans are one step closer to earning a college degree with minimal debt.
Gail's Fund provides emergency help to single parents who find themselves in a financial crisis that may prevent or delay their continued enrollment at Inver Hills Community College. Eligible students can receive up to $1,000 in emergency assistance to help them stay enrolled and making progress toward their academic goals. To learn more or apply for this scholarship please make an appointment with a counselor.
Students may apply for emergency assistance of up to $1,000 per semester and $2,000 lifetime maximum to bridge the gap during a financial crisis impacting academic success (e.g. unexpected car repair or medical bill). For more information, or to complete an application, students may schedule an appointment with an IHCC counselor. Counselors can also assist students in developing a plan to identify additional resources and overcome future challenges.
