Bridge to Success

TRIO Bridge to Success is a unique opportunity only available during fall 2020. There is no cost to students and Bridge to Success supports students throughout their first semester in college to successfully transition from high school to college. Students will meet regularly throughout the fall semester, gain knowledge about Inver Hills resources and opportunities, improve communication and study skills, and develop connections with other students.

Contingent on public health conditions, students may also have the opportunity to earn a free phy ed credit through completing the Outdoor Activity Sampler at the Osprey Wilds in Sandstone, MN. This course has been tentatively scheduled for April 9th to the 11th. Finally, students who complete Bridge to Success and meet academic and participation requirements for TRIO during fall 2020 will be eligible for a $250 scholarship for spring 2021.

Students are eligible for Bridge to Success if they:

  • Have graduated from high school in the past two years (since May 2018).
  • Have not previously taken any college courses after graduating from high school (you are still eligible if you participated in PSEO, CIS, or similar programs during high school).

Apply online and, if you are not a current TRIO student, also submit the TRIO application.
