From live theatre productions to performance ensembles to high-level debating to fine art exhibitions, Inver Hills is a college dedicated to cultural diversity, expression and inclusion.
Each semester, the Inver Hills Music Department presents concerts and recitals in support of the academic curriculum and arts culture on campus. Events include solo and collaborative recitals by faculty, choir performances, and a student showcase. All events are free and open to the public.
Each academic year, the Inver Hills Theatre Department presents plays and musicals in the Theater and the Black Box. All events are free for students.
The Annual Research Conference is dedicated to the growth and development of students and faculty in the search for wisdom through the sharing and scrutiny of academic research. The conference provides participants an opportunity to improve skills such as communication, organization, public presentation, active listening, and the importance of questioning general assumptions and basic argumentative structures.

Inver Hills hosts an annual Fine Arts Festival during spring semester. The event features more than 40 sessions presented by the college’s Art, English, Music and Theatre departments. Free and open to the public, the Fine Arts Festival has provided a range of activities over the years, including:
Located in the atrium of the Fine Arts building, FA120, the Inver Hills Art Gallery hosts a solid variety of programming each academic year, including:
Exhibitions showcase the work of Inver Hills students and faculty as well as regional and national artists. Art sales raise funds for art student scholarships. The gallery also coordinates offerings with the Music and Theatre departments, the Center for Diversity and Equity, and student clubs on campus.
