Cost of Attendance

Determining cost and financial need
All students and/or their families are expected to contribute to the cost of their education. These contributions are determined through the financial needs analysis process. In order for the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office to determine your financial need, we must first establish your costs associated with attending Inver Hills for an academic year.

Students attending Inver Hills less than full-time are eligible for financial aid. However, budget, family contributions, and maximum awards may be adjusted proportionately.

An example of the calculation of costs for the academic year is displayed in the table below. All budget items shown are for nine months and full-time attendance (15 credits per term). Please note that rates are estimated for 2014-2015:
