Details for Orientation Ambassador

Duties: The orientation ambassadors will welcome new students to Inver Hills Community College, provide a campus tour to students, and assist students through the orientation and registration process. Ambassadors will learn and perform the following duties: • Welcome and greet new students/families • Assist students with check-in for orientation • Provide a campus tour to new students and their family members • Help students learn about opportunities to get involved at IHCC and academic success resources that are available to them. • Assist new student to navigate e-services • Assist advisors in prepping orientation materials and facilitating the orientation session Providing great customer service, being professional and positively representing Inver Hills Community College is essential.
Qualifications: Be enthusiastic and positive about IHCC! Great communicator, computer skills, attention to detail, desire to improve public speaking abilities, professional skills such as customer service and marketing. Student must be dependable, honest and able to maintain confidentiality. Eligible for work-study is required.
