Inver Hills Community College is requesting $14.6 million to renovate the Technology & Business Center. Here's why.The Technology & Business Center has not been remodeled since it was first built, in the early 1970s. The building is outdated, with over $6.5 million in deferred maintenance. The 2021 bonding request will provide flexible, state-of-the-art learning environments for STEM, paralegal, business and accounting programs.
This critical project will:
- Create 15 flexible technology-adapted classrooms
- Create four specialized Cisco networking classrooms
- Connect the Business Center to Heritage Hall
- Remodel restrooms to current codes and ADA standards
- Improve the learning environment for students
