Inver Hills offers you several different options to reach your higher education goals. No matter which option you choose, our faculty and staff will make sure you are headed in the right direction.
Inver Hills provides nearly 40 degree options via the Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) and Associate of Fine Arts (A.F.A.). You can complete your freshman and sophomore obligations at Inver Hills and transfer to a four-year school as a junior to pursue your bachelor’s degree. You'll save money and work directly with Ph.D. instructors on a welcoming, university-style campus.

You are a non-degree seeking student if you are planning on taking courses at Inver Hills, but not planning on completing a degree or certification. Whether you are taking a couple of classes to further your knowledge and experience, or planning to take classes to transfer back to your current college or university, we have course options for you. Inver Hills offers ASAP, or Adult Success through Accelerated Pathways, for working adults who need a flexible, streamlined higher education pathway. ASAP gives you the opportunity to earn a college degree at an accelerated, independent pace while getting college credit for the knowledge and skills you've gained through your work and life experiences.

Inver Hills is a member of the Minnesota State. If you are admitted and in good academic standing at another system college or university, you may register for courses at Inver Hills as a visiting student.

The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program allows qualified 10th, 11th, and 12th grade high school students to take college level courses at Inver Hills. The courses that you complete at Inver Hills can earn transferable college credits as well as apply to high school graduation requirements. The PSEO program covers the cost of tuition, fees, and required textbooks and materials for college level courses taken for high school credit.
