Inver Hills is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) as an online provider of degrees and certificates.
Certificates can range from 11 to 30 credits. Search your program to learn more.
Inver Hills offers nearly 80 online classes during fall and spring semesters, and about 40 in the summer.
You can take online classes through D2L Brightspace, a Web-based learning management system. Using Brightspace, you can access class materials, engage in discussions with your fellow students, take quizzes and turn in your assignments—all working online anytime from anywhere. Most of our online classes also allow you to connect with students and​ instructors in real time using Zoom.
Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components. Colleges and universities across and beyond the U.S. use the tools in developing, maintaining and reviewing their online courses and in training their faculty.
