Career Opportunities

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, roughly 37,000 new art-related jobs are projected to be added to the nation’s workforce from 2020 to 2030. Skilled experts will be needed to meet the demand for “animation and visual effects in video games, movies, television, and on smartphones, as well as to help create visually appealing and effective layouts of websites and other media platforms.”

BLS added that the median annual wage for arts and design occupations was nearly $50,000 in May 2020—higher than the median annual wage of just under $42,000 for all occupations.
