The Transfer Pathway A.S. in Business and the Contemporary Business Practice A.A.S. programs are accredited through the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (ACBSP), a leading specialized accreditation association for business education. The heart of the accreditation process centers on continuous improvement.
The Transfer Pathway A.S. in Business delivers a curriculum specifically designed to guarantee that you have junior-year status when you transfer to one of seven Minnesota State universities to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
The Contemporary Business Practice A.A.S. offers electives in business that allow you to customize your program to meet your individual learning objectives. Our A.A.S. degree has fewer liberal arts credits so you can complete this program and jump directly into the business workforce with the skills to compete in a global environment.
As a student in our program, you’ll be invited to participate and compete in Collegiate DECA, a student business organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in colleges around the world.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for business and financial occupations exceeded $72,000 in May 2020. That’s $30,000 a year higher than the roughly $42,000 calculated for the median annual wage for all occupations.
