Volunteer Fair

There is a role for you to contribute to making a difference in your community.

Local organizations offer a variety of opportunities to make a positive impact in our vibrant communities, and the potential to engage with others with similar interests. Volunteering shares your talents, develops new skills, expands resources and services, raises awareness of social needs, connects communities, and builds friendships.

Whether you are looking for one-time, ongoing, project-based or seasonal; for individuals, families or groups (businesses, churches, civic organizations, schools, etc.) in person or remote from home, you can make a difference.

Check out these local organizations that are currently seeking new volunteers! Contact the organization directly for more information or to apply. For general questions about this online resource, contact Shannon Williams at swilliams@inverhills.edu.

360 Communities

360 Communities delivers safety and stability that improves lives. With three effective program areas and community partnerships, we build trusting relationships, break cycles of violence, and produce measurable success. Founded more than 45 years ago by a group of volunteers, we provide hope and support to about 15,000 individuals each year. There are 9 programs in over 40 locations, including a network of five food shelves, two domestic and sexual violence shelters, two resource centers, and two programs that support school success from birth through high school graduation. Over 1,000 volunteers donate their time, energy and talent in support of 360 Communities every year.

Opportunities:

Due to COVID, we currently have ongoing volunteer and internship opportunities available at our Food Shelves and Resource Centers. As restrictions loosen up, we will return to having volunteers help support our Violence Prevention and Intervention area.

360 would love to talk with you about volunteering with our organization!
