You may use Interlibrary loan (ILL) to obtain books, articles and other materials not available in our collection. ILL is offered through MINITEX, a cooperative state-wide consortium. It is free to IHCC students, faculty, and staff but is limited to fifteen requests at a time and only one copy of a book may be requested (no multiple copies). The lending library determines loan periods and renewal decisions for ILL materials, not the IHCC Library. You can check the status of your ILL request by logging in from the "My Library Account" link in the library catalog. To request a renewal, you may also use the above link, stop in the library, or call 651-450-3625. Arrival notification is by email; pick-up is at the library circulation desk.
You are responsible for the on-time return and condition of ILL materials and will be billed for lost, damaged, or overdue materials. Materials should be returned to the circulation desk. Abuse of interlibrary loan policies will result in the blocking of your interlibrary loan account.
You may fill out an interlibrary loan request online or visit the library to ask any of the library staff for assistance.
